Default wheel upgrade

I have an 06 Ultra Classic and I want to upgrade the wheels. The wheel size currently is 16 inch and the ones I am looking at are 18 inch. Does anyone know if there is any modifications that have to be made to the braking system for the 18 inch wheels.

Thanks

Not sure but I've gone 16" rear, 18" front. Still looks excellent. No mod required. Also enables me to slam the rear even more with my air-tail

Hey Buckeyerider what brand and size tire did you get for the 18 inch wheels. Any difference in the ride or handling of the bike?

I got Creation 7's by Forge-tec with Avon tires. I can't give you an honest opinion about the ride yet. They are part of my winter mods and only rode them around the block once due to the weather.
I haven't heard anything bad about Avon. I had them on my last bike and liked them.
The front is 130 and rear is 150, they are the venom-X
Can't wait to ride.
