Real 2011 Model Info (not earth shattering)

It's a way of life, not just a bike.
I just ordered my 2011 Ultra Trike and simply because I need 3 wheels instead of 2 now. Back on Nov. 13 2009 I had a lady run over me on my 2007 Ultra. I suffered a double compound fracture in my leg, a ruptured spleen, 3 cracked ribs, a punchtered lung, and a fracture of my L1 and L2 vertibrae in my back. People have told me I was stupid for ever wanting to get back on another bike. I tell them that it's my way of life. I have been out of action now for 4 1/2 months and I'm ready to get backin the wind. I don't care how many wheels you have or what brand you're on... IT IS A WAY OF LIFE! You understand what I'm saying if you a real biker at heart!

My dad's got Multiple Schlerosis and has numb feet. No way he can hold up a bike, shift, etc. He would be a perfect trike buyer. Been trying to get him in to a Street Glide Trike with electric shift.

Sad to say, I see the day coming that I'll have to go to 3 wheels full time. However, I'll be going to a Hack. I had one on a '91 Ultra years ago and I have a small one now for my 1200 Sporster, when I need it. I would really love to have on a new Ultra with a 110, or larger SE engine in it someday, and a new Ultra sidecar to go along with it.

More power to you Idnoe. I'm proud of you for getting back in the saddle. Don't understand the problem a couple of these guys have with them, one gal in our local chapter put 27000 miles on her trike last year, take that!
