Default Any lower fairing locking system yet

Just want to know has any one come up with a locking system to keep your lower fairing from getting stolen. With a cordless power screw driver and bit and wrench they can be taken off very fast. I know Harley sell a glove box with a lock but it cost to much .

Why the lower fairing more than ........... the outer fairing, or the seat, or the antennas or ......................
Anything can be stolen on a bike....... including the whole bike itself. Best protection is a good insurance policy.

Try an anti-theft screw. I didn't realize that lower thefts were that prevalent.

Default just the point

Have you had any part of you bike stolen, It sucks to come out and see your bags gone or any other part gone. If my bike is stolen there is nothing I can do, but If I can make any part of my bike theft proof Ill do it. Any part that can be easily removed is money to a theif. You bags , lower fairing and seat can be easily removed. Yeah the insurance will pay for it but now you have to wait for bags and fairings because stealerships have to order the parts.

I haven't had anything stolen on my bikes ......... yet, but I know it can happen. I'm not disputing the fact that it sucks but my point was that I try not to be paranoid about it because if I am, I'll have to replace a ton of bolts to install anti-theft fasteners all over the bike. Neither you nor anyone can predict what a thief could be interested in.

Hogtrough.com and eglidegoodies.com both make and sell locking glove box doors.
