Default fairing mount oil temp gauges

Who makes the best or what is the most popular that people are using? Seems to be a few available and wondering if the HD one is a good choice.

I went with the MoCo unit. Its an exact match for my other gauges and I got it at 20% off from Chicago HD.

How difficult is it to install the MoCo unit? Is it plug and play. I would like to replace the air sensor for the Oil temp gauge. Joe

I ordered one from Boston HD in early September during a 20% off sale. It just came in last week, and I picked it up yesterday. Like others said, it matches stock guages for my 09 SG. Have not installed yet.

It is a very simple job and you can get an idea by going here and downloading the instructions. The best time to do this is while doing an oil change. It calls for putting the sending unit in the oil pan.
