Default Replacement O-Ring sizes: anyone know?

2006 Ultra Classic, 88 CI engine.

Engine, transmission, primary drain plug O-Ring sizes would help me buy them locally as I live quite a way from a HD dealer. Additionally, I am sure their prices for a commodity item would just make me angry. Of course, the Service Manual does not give the generic sizes--figures doesn't it?.

Yes, I know I can just take the O-Rings down to the hardware store to its sizing chart but I have gone that route before and there are so many that are so close in size that I cannot be assured that I have made the correct match. Last thing I need is to pull the plug(s) again after adding new synthetic oils. Thanks.

I bought a huge O ring kit for like $8 at Harbor freight. In another thread I read that the last two numbers of the P/N were the size. I haven't looked myself but it might be worth checking out.

I heard on this forum to buy Danco #8. So... i did this weekend. Have not used them yet but they appear to be correct.

But to each his own.

Here's what I bought....McMaster-Carr pn#9452K57 (equivalent to HD 11105) and 98410A118 (equivalent to HD 11143) The two items were 11.97 total and 4.25 shipping for 16.22 total. Both are packs of 100 and both items are identical to the respective HD part. The total from HD for 100 of each of these pn#'s would be $195 retail. I saved $178.78 and won't have to buy another 11105 or 11143 for a few years. The o-rings will last me 33 (3 hole) fluid changes. BTW, the size of the 11105 is -013. You will need a replacement for the primary drain plug as I believe you have the little brown jobbie on yours. I don't know the size of that one.

Similar here. I bought a kit of 550 for 5 bucks from one of the traveling junk tool sales that come around in a circus tent. I'd guess there were 50 in it that would work. When those run out, I'll just get them at the hardware store. The best I remember a 5 pack is less than a buck.
