10 RG denim black. Wanna get black pipes. I feel like I'm deciding between the V&H Pro pipe HO 2:1 and the new Rinehart true duals for the 10's - black of course. I've read enough to catch on 2:1=better performance. Just always loved those Rineharts. Is there really a drastic difference in performance other than $. You know, it's a RG... not really gonna be racing but it's so nice to have that power when you want to get on it.... Skinny guy at HD dealer said the pro pipe was REALLY loud. Any input would be great, especially on those new Rineharts... can't find any reviews on them yet. Or any direction to where to get credible feedback...other than skinny guy at HD that doesn't convince me he knows what he is talking about.
lower heat by 250/300 Degrees??? wow thats amazing!!!! lol.. im guessing you mean 25/30 degrees right..;-)) go propipe!!! I put true duals on in place of Thunderheader and have regreted it from day one....looks and performance wise! JMO
Fatcat is my preference out of those choices and comes in black too. Noise is too subjective to comment on here. Go and listen some bikes with each pipe. As you said, 2 into 1 will provide more power, but it is not exactly a race bike. We sell all these brands as well.
I am in the same boat with a 10 RG vivid black. You know that rinehart has a black 2 into 1 also? Just FYI, I think the VH HO pipe does not come with heat shields and from someone on this forum, can get very hot.
I have "narrowed" it down to rinehart 2-1, bassani road rage, DD boss, or waiting for FuelMoto's catless head pipe and ceramic coating my shields and slip-on. Pretty narrow huh?
