I have the 8.5". There is no "boy in the bubble" with it. Klock himself says of you want to be the boy in the bubble, drive a cage. It's a tremendous improvement over the useless and odd looking stock wind screen. I found mine on ebay new for $131 shipped.

Yeah I agree with the bubble, I was wondering how it performs, so far there is positive feedback. I think the 6.5" will be good for my hieght and keep a low clean look on sg.

My 6 1/2" has worked great for me, but I do get the occasional bug. I'm seriously considering the 8 1/2". I love the look of it though.

I have the 6.5 and when riding I can raise my hand and feel where the flow comes over the shield. It pushes the wind just over and around my head and there is a very distinct pocket. For me it virtually eliminated the wind over the top but now I feel the wind coming up from under the fairing. My seating position is sitting back a bit from normal and my legs are almost straight so I'm sure the wind is following my legs. I'm very happy with my Flare. If you stop at KW they will put it on your bike and send you for a ride.
