Is'nt that Farrow's North Star location?
I'd meet up with you & the delawre buddy there at... say... 11-11:30 (or so).
I could show you a back road ride to the top of rt 315, south to Farrows-Down-Town, by way of Hogback road past the eagle's roost. That's where I took my sig pic.
It'd be a 45 mile - 1 hour ride.
is the swap meet at the fairgrounds,is it all weekend???
Yes the swap meet is all weekend. I'll be checking it out for the first time but it's advertised as the biggest in Ohio. Not sure what that really means but I'll find out tomorrow.
Not really Central at all, Closer to WVA/PA then Columbus LOL
Yes, there is some nice riding here. Can't wait for spring as I bought my Street Glide in October. Speaking of the swap meet. Thinking of making the trip up, what can I expect? Is it worth it?
Got your PM and wanted to respond here also in case anyone else was interested.
Last time I went to one was about 5 years ago. Kinda like a big flea market. Some new stuff, lots of old stuff. Shirt vendors and food vendors. $5 to get in, free parking. I really don't know how big this one will be. I'll call my buddy tomorrow that sells shirts and stuff to try to get a better idea of how many booths they've sold.
If the weather would stay dry for the 10 min ride, I'll bring my bike. Don't want to be caught in the rain on it till I have some more time to get used to it.
08 Fxd, ya the northstar location is at 71 and 36 ill plan on being there at 11:30am or just after but should be there by 11:30. I may know the back way your talking about but let you lead from there sounds good to me grab some chilli downtown and ride around some as long as i get back before dark and the temps drop thru the floor iam good.
I live in Dayton! When are you heading out tommorow?
Chris
I'll be picking up my bike from FNS on north dixie between 10 - 10:30 in the morning. I'm not sure where I'm heading.. it all depends on if the wife wants to ride or not. If she rides I'll probably do a sissy ride over around Oxford. If not.. I was thinking about just ripping up 35 to WCH and then take 753 south to 41.. then 41 south to the ohio river.. 41 is a sweet road. Then I take 763 and a bunch of roads back towards fort ancient. Man do I know the roads around here!
If you want to go just show up at the service department at 10:15 and ask the giant (shelby) where Ralph is.
