Got a 2009 SE Road Glide around may 2009.
Orange and Black. Wasnt cheap and I had add the follow:
Power Commander
Rinehart true dual
HID lights
LaPera seat
Progressive shocks with compressor
Klock Werks wind shield
Kuryakyn INNER PRIMARY COVER
Hawg Wired
Electra-Glo Light Pod Kit
Some more chrome parts etc
And more to come, or so I was thinking till last night...
But last night I seen a pic of the new SE Ultra in black...
And now im having a dilemma... Trade or no trade???
What do you guys think? if I trade, I would have to get the tour pack to be detachable and all ready made a promise to my princess that I wont do nothing to it ...
You bought a Screaming Eagle Road Glide EIGHT MONTHS ago, and then put.... what? Another 4 grand in it at least?
And now your not happy with it? or Think you want the SE ULTRA in Black?
Really it sounds like you have more money than you know what to do with, I say keep the RG and buy the Ultra too...
You know if you trade, you'll likely take it very very deeply,, right?
not so easy with money, just seems to think that you only go around the block once... and with dealer charges, im a shame to say way more then 4g in to it... I guess my ADD/ADHD kicks in at this point.
However, youj have to agree, the new Ultra SE in bllack is one sweet looking ride!
But hay, love mine to...
Personally, I think you're nuts to consider trading an '09 SERG for a '10 CVO Ultra in the new color. Except for paint, there is nothing unique or special about the new Ultra unless the fact that it's numbered has some special appeal. Now, if the CVO Ultra had the SESG/SERG rear fender, extended bags, etc. that would be worth pondering. But it doesn't have those features which you already have.

Help me out here guys...
You asked... Be happy with what you got and just ride it.
I agree with Hockey-- You will lose more money selling it than you would spend getting a trick paint job that is better than what you had seen on the black Ultra.
Yep, you'll take a huge hit selling that SERG and unless I had no worries in the world about $$$, I'd drop any thoughts of doing a trade.
EDIT: If you really want that ugly SE Ultra, I'd take that fugly SERG off your hands for $15k cause that's the kind of guy I am - generous to a fault! LOL

I think your crazy. The 09 RG in the orange is one bad *** looking bike and will ride better than the ultra. My dad has one and that bike looks alot better than the black 2010 ultra but then agian i have not seen the ultra in person just pics. But id keep the glide
