I still haven't made it out to the barn to see if thie 8" will work with the 3 pouch HD bags but I hope to this afternoon. I am concerned with this mounting issue that I hear others speak of... I don't want to go and have to alter any holes if this don't work with the bags... The bags will stay!
I hear ya. This is the reason why I don't have a Cee Bailey's SSC on my bike. I love the looks of the shield but I don't want to lose my T-Bags 3 pouches.

The HD 3 Pouch Windshield bags fit fine on my 9" X-Stream...
Well, I went for the morning paper and the sun just felt so good I headed out back to the barn to see if I could mount the shield and I would actually go for a ride.
Bad News.
I will have to make some modifications just to get it to bolt on... I measured with a seamstress tape and my measurements across from outside to outside is 21" from mounting hole to mounting hole. The Long ride shield is just short or 20" so I'll have to file or dremmel it out a bit. As for the HD 3 pouch bags it looks like the top outer edge of the bags will stick out 3/8" to 1/2" past the windshield: Also the re-curve seems to start just a bit to soon and will push my bags towards me and I am not going to alter the windshield until I speak with them at Long Ride to see if this is the old design or the new...
The HD 3 Pouch Windshield bags fit fine on my 9" X-Stream...
I have the 8" and it looks like its going to push them back quite a bit and stick out past the side of the shield. I tried to call but their phone went from ringing to a busy signal, so it looks like I'll have to wait till Monday to see what my next step is...

Hey Phillipe,
It's Larry, what's up? I've tested the first version last week for LRS. I got the 8" and I also have the T-bags windshield 3 pouch. It was a little too tight for the bags. I talked with Matt at LRS and they are exchanging it for the "2.0" 9" version which I think the T-bags pouch should fit perfect. I presently have an 8" Clearview Recurve. The 8" X-Stream turns out to be a little bit shorter because of the "swept-back" design so I think the 9" will end up being same to look over as the 8" recurve. The shield should be here by the end of next week and I'll know for sure. If you'd like to stop over and see how it looks on the bike and see how the bags fit, let me know.
