Due to the fact that we want you all to have a chance to test the windshield here's what we will do.
ANY ONE WHO BUYS AN X-STREME BY MIDNIGHT THURSDAY NIGHT WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE A TESTER FOR THE WINDSHIELD. THIS MEANS YOU GET A 30 DOLLAR REBATE, YOU CAN RETURN YOUR WINDHSIELD AT ANY POINT, AND WE WILL REPLACE YOUR WINDSHIELD WITH ANY SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THAT MIGHT COME.
ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU TEST THE WINDSHIELD AND TAKE A SHORT SURVEY AFTER YOU HAVE PUT IT ON YOUR BIKE.
THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.
Just ordered online. How do I take part in survey to receive rebate?
I ordered the 7" online at about 4:00 after talking to Matt and he said they were trying to get everyone the refund today, got mine also. bjones I think you're in as you ordered today, I forgot to put anything on my paypal. Also that he was getting alot of orders (50 approx). He thought the windshield bags would work with the 9" but since this is the first run that they could be exchanged if needed. Great guy, he delivered my recurve when he was living near here last summer.
I was looking at the new Klockwerks 8" but it's not available in clear. I Ordered the X-stream 10" clear to replace the stock 12" on my 08 EGC. I'll post a review once installed, weather permitting. Got the $30 refund within minutes for a final price of $101.95 shipped. I also asked if the 3 bag would fit and got this reply from Matt Gardner “I don't know, that is exactly why we are doing these test windshields, remember that as a tester you can return or exchange the windshield as you please or as much as you please to find one that will work for you. I believe that with the sizes 7- 10 inches the bags will work, but I need to hear it from you. I appreciate you asking me because I want to make something that will work for all the bikers and if I have to change the windshield to work with bags, then that is what we will attempt to do, another option would be to make a set of bags specifically for this windshield. I would appreciate your input as we go through this testing process.” Matt Gardner
quadzilla uses 5 bolt fasteners instead of 3 bolt fasteners
You just buy any harley type shield and slide it into your fairing.. then mark the other two holes with a sharpe and then remove shield and get out your drill. Problem solved. Now send me your 90 bucks!
I'll test one of your windshields, but I won't give you a dime due to giving you my valuable feedback. Plus what if your windshield killed me due to its design.. do you have insurance to cover people in case that happens. If not, you better write up some really good disclaimer to go along with the shields.
Ok, I've already gave you some really good advice.. now when are you going to send me my dang windshield?
