All great looking bikes.
I am going to go the blacked-out look on my new to me 98 Road King Classic next fall-->
Plan to ride it as much as I can this season, then worry about how it looks
Street Glide is a work in progress, going to eliminate all the chrome. The other bike is my old Road King which I did black but left some chrome here and there.
Its not done yet...still got to put on your black exhaust
This laziness will not be tolerated...Beatings will continue until morale improves...Funny but our bikes are gonna be damn near twins...but yours is uglier LOL
I really like your bike, I am considering something similar, as Chrome is nice and everything but I think I like black better. I am hoping to go for that nice balance between the Chrome and black. RIght now I have a LOT of chrome overload heh.
I like a little bling, so now for my comments.
I would leave the Headlight Trim Ring and turn signals chrome
But you need to black out:
all the covers on the motor (timing, trany, derby and left side cover)
Engine guard
Floor Boards
Highway pegs
Passenger pegs
Brake and shifter levers (hand and foot levers)
Luggage Rack
Looks like I have a lot of work to do next winter....thanks for the suggestions. By the way all you have nice rides...I really dig Ultrakla$$ic's bike.

his bike needs alot of powdercoating,,,: he was just dreaming a lil and posted another members bike...lol
Black with bling. Got the V Rod so blacked out I painted the bolt heads on the engine and frame. The Ultra has been stripped down of all chrome that is not on the engine or in line with the engine. Chrome heart with a big fat black body. Pics when I get her back together. A little bling is nice on big bikes.
subscribing so i can see seen eric's blacked out '09 ultra when it gets put back together. im interested in these threads cuz i have a little blacked out project going myself.
