2007 upgrades ???

2007 upgrades ???
Stopped by the HD shop at Grantline and 99 just south of Sacramento - was told there that the "Only" upgrades that the shops will be allowed to do on the 07's are adding 103 / 110 and or slip on's - nothing else as told by HD ?????? anyone else hearing this????

I don't know what you read but I read If you use the HD kits to upgrade your bike it wont void your warranty. As to say upgrading with anything else WILL......

Try asking for a Screamin Eagle slip on that is not a catalyst muffler for the 07. From what I hear they should be called the Scream Cats. Talk about something that is going to be hot.

I asked a parts person and was told all the slip on Screamin Eagle for 07 have cats. Probably why they are so big.

07 muffs are not Cat equipped........
The only models that will have cats from the factory are the 110's........
96 and some 103's still retain the new style mufflers that are non-Catalytic types.....
With ESPFI, and the small displacement, cats are not required.... Until you get to certain 103's 110 inches....

Thanks for the info. The reason I asked where I buy parts is because I had to deal with the 06 upgrades and part #65467-05 and 80463-06 both are catalyst-equipped. I do not have a new book yet and was trying to find if they were the same as the 06 baggers as far having cats.
