Default Tricks...?

How do you all clean your rims? I have the stock polished spokes on my rkc. I was thinking about trying the Mothers Powerball or Powercurve. What are your all tricks?

I hate rims (all kinds). Lots of work to clean them and they get dirty quick. They also have a huge impact on the appearance of the bike, a bike with clean rims looks clean. A bike with dirty rims looks dirty.
It isn't hard to find products that advertise how great they work and how long the shine will last.
Only solution I know is lots of work by hand especially in difficult to reach areas. Most of the polishes and tools I've tried are about equal.

Bike needs to be a on a lift. This makes it easier as the wheels can spin.
elbow grease, knuckle oil, patience and plenty of Crown Royal n ginger ale.
Much easier with bags off on the Ultra as well. Always a pain in the *** but well worth the time invested.

I have a RKC. Clean the spokes and rims by hand. Tried motherball, never gained anything. Hardest part is cleaning the center hub. Would like to know an easier way to clean this. The cone shaped spoke brush works ok, but the center hub is an issue

A spoke brush makes it a little easier but elbow grease is what it takes.Along with scratched up hands and arms.

I told my wife she did not have to ride with me if she would keep the rims and spokes clean on my FLSTSC! Worked like a charm!

Replace those junk HD spokes with stainless (not chrome).
I can't be the only one here old enough to remember the bicycle trick of using a loop of cotton clothesline to keep the hub clean!

I put mine up on the lift and wet the tires and rims, I then spray them with Westleys bleche-white and scrub the rims and spokes with the spoke brush and rinse clean...Works for me!
