Changing the spokes to STAINLESS was the very first thing I did on my softail. SS kit was about $125/wheel. You'll never have to worry again and they always look good. GREAT ADVISE BEEMERVET!

Can you or anyone elaborate please? This is something I have wanted to ask for a while, cleaning the hubs. Just cleaned my bike yesterday and with spoked rims cleaning the hubs has always alluded me. Everything else is meticulious but those darned hubs confound me.
