SEST is the same as your Race Tuner. You can't transfer it to your new bike however, you will have to purchase a new one. Leave your old tuner with the dealer so that who ever purchases your old bike will have it.
If you already have the Rineharts and A/C and get a SEST, you can get a map to get you by. After the bike is broke in, get it dyno tuned. You will have a great running bike then and it should run a little cooler as well. The 2010 crossover pipe is actually a cross under, so that helps with heat. However, you also have CATs in your head pipe and I hear they run hot. The dyno tune may help that, but I'll defer to others that know more about it.
Thanks all. I did leave the race tuner and owners manual with the "old" bike. I am polishing up the slip on mufflers so that I can put them on when it goes in for the first service. Loving the ride.
Oh yea, the heated hand grips may not be ABSOLUTELY required here in Hawaii, but, with all the broken bones I've had in the past when the temps get bone chillin' (south of 70) or it rains (other side of the island or around the next corner, take your pick), those things feel NIIICEE! WHAT A MACHINE! Thanks HD!
agree with every suggestion except this one. i had an 03 ultra and upgrade that setup to all hogtunes speakers and it was a major improvement to the stock radio. when i got my limited, the stereo was better. no need for us to upgrade these speakers for us.
if you get WWW post a pic. once my original tires wear out - i am putting WWW on.
i am also trying hard to figure out if i want the fuel moto setup. its a great bike stock so far.
you're going to want to get rid of the stock head pipe with the cat. Fuel moto makes a nice 2-1-2 headpipe. The cat will restrict performance/mileage, and the heat off the stock head pipe is noticeable.
I am waiting for my Limited to be delivered. Once I get the break in done I am going to do the Fuel Moto headpipe, PC-V, Jackpot Slip-ons and A/C. After that it will all be cosmetic. Should be here in a week or two, then just have to wait for this freaking snow to melt.
