Am I crazy? I, along with a Heritage and an Ultra, rode from Yuma to Gila Bend and back today. For what you ask?? Why, to have lunch, of course! It was hotter than the hinges on the gateposts of He**! But, you know what???? We had fun. I guess that was the important part, even if I had to keep reminding myself I was enjoying it. Ride safe. Al.

No, you are not crazy! I think this kind of behaviour makes you a biker.
My house is exactly 7.3 miles away from my office, I routinely put 100 or 150 miles on my bike everyday just getting to and from work. My wifa and I take a 75 mile putt one way for a cup of coffee.

Tryin' to keep the mileage down on your scoot I see.
Not crazy at all. I frequently ride over 100 miles for lunch. Rode about 700 one weekend for a bowl of green chili along with some other members of this forum.
three weeks ago two of us rode from Flowery Branch, GA. to Nashville, TN via San Diego, NW corner of Washington, 17 days 7,752 miles, this Thursday heading for Strugis from Flowery Branch, GA via Maine (we like lobster)............ it's called riding!!!!
Yep...you're crazy alright! On the other hand so are the rest of us. Otherwise we wouldn't spend so much time widing our bikes only to come home and log on to the computer and spend hours more responding to posts like these. Ah....such blissful craziness. Wouldn't have it any other way.
