Like the heel shift a lot. After 11 years on the FXDL (with just a toe shift) it took about a minute and a half to get used to the heel shift on the RG I just bought.

Always use it. Makes it easier to wear flip flops while riding.

I honestly loved the heel shifter on my Suzi,

Took it off within a week on new flh,,, no room on the floorboard, and it is waaaay to high. I feel like I need to lift my knee up to my chest just to use it... And yes I tried to adjust it before removing it, still didnt like it. so sadly its gone....

Only when I have large steel toed work boots on that won't fit under the toe shift. Then the heel shifter comes in useful.

Like the heel-toe setup. Have it on my shovelhead FLT and on my 06 Ultra. Forcing myself to tune my leg to find neutral with the heel on the Ultra.

For those of you that have removed your heel shifters, care to send me yours? Mine fell off during a ride and I actually use mine all the time. PM me with details and if you are willing to do so.

Thanks...

Never used mine. Took it off & gained more room. However MIA, I'm hanging onto it to put back on at trade-in time.
