I have a 86 FLTC with a bad ignition switch that harley davidson does not stock any more part#71549-82a. It seems that the aftermarket companies don't make a replacement either that i can find. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do.

 

Go look on Ebay for a ebay store called pinwall cycles...they have tons of old parts.

 

On this site there are some forums that deal with older bike. Go to (harley davidson forums) at the top of this page. Scroll down and you will see some forums that might be able to help you out.

Another thing you might try is going to the Classified section and posting in the (Want to Buy) section.

 

Type the part # in google and see what happens.Thousands of places,got to be some for sale.
