The chrome buttons are NOT lick and stick, nor are they taped. They are replacement buttons for the black ones. I know cause I just installed them today. Black housing, chrome buttons. If money is the issue, chrome buttons are around $20 bucks, chrome housings are $150 bucks. Either way it's whatever you like!
I took the chrome buttoms back this week and traded them in for the chrome housings...damn this forum!!!
Now...how difficult is it to change the housings out??? I looked at the switches and got alittle nervous with all of the little springs...that's why I still had them in the box. Hopefully the housings won't be as bad!!???
