Stock exhaust SUCKS!
Well, I loaded my Softail Standard on a trailer this week and brought it home. (been in a buddys garage near where I stay during the week) I was riding it to work and such last summer/fall. I wanted to free up space for him in his "Man cave"...
Well, I fired that 88 cid with the V&H Longshots on it, TW37 cam, and grinned like it was time for,,,
Well never mind.
It sounded sooo sweet, I GOTTA do something about that stock pipe on the FLHX!
I do want to be able to listen to the radio and such. I have read every thread on here about 2-1 slip ons,,, and if I am thinking right, the SE Night Stick, or Super Trapp Supermeg are my best choices? Seems most think you can tune them to bark nicely under acceleration, and still be fairly mild while cruising along at highway speeds...

have a 10SG with a nightstik, like the sound it isn't much louder than stock till ya get on it. Waiting for the new 2/1 jackpot headpipe to be released so I can dump the cat and still be able to use the stock heat shields and the nightstik. I'm keeping the stock exhaust system in case it's needed at a later date.
