I put Wild Ones 575's on my 2005 Electra Glide Classic and now I'm looking for a used "Reach" Seat for it. I did have to go with a +4 clutch cable. I'm 5'8" with a short inseam! Still the handlebars did make a difference for me.

Default reach seat

Firedawg473, I have a reach seat that I bought for my '07 ultra. Used it on one trip to Arkansas. I liked my other seat better. If it will fit yours I'll sell it at a reasonable price.

I've got W1 518's, feel good on short hops but have not gotten a long ride with them; the 'close' to leg feel on tight maneuvers is a bit un-nerving at times.
Thinking about W1 14" apes then rolling them back but the wrist position with the 518's is just too comfortable.

I put the HD pullback bars on my 06 ultra. Better for me than stock but like others have said it changes wrist angle and puts your elbows in closer to your body. I'm trading for a '10 ultra ltd and am investigating options other than HD pulbacks.

Default Mini Apes

I rode for years with 16" apes on a Fatboy so I am used to them and really like them. This year I purchased a 2009 FLHT my first fairing bike and added the black 13" mini apes from Cycle Smiths 0601-0792 and they made all the difference in the world to me. Great relaxing ride and excellent handling characteristics. There is nothing better than riding a comfortable bike that looks great too.

Something like if it feels good it must be right? Then you just do it!

How much of a difference is there between the 575's and the stock. I am thinking about going to them on 05 Ultra.
