Is anyone using the GT-1 Locking Glove Box Door from www.eglidegoodies.com? I am looking for something instead of the cheap flaps and dont want to pay $200 for the factory brand. Any suggestions?
I bought doors from them but they're hinged. The removeable ones didn't appeal to me. The hinged ones work great. You can get them keyed or not and for $15 they'll match your keys. Best option in my opinion.

I had the original side-mounted hinge style on my '06; should have kept them when I sold the bike. One thing I didn't like is that when you opened them, they opened towards the fuel tank, so if I wasn't carefull, the barrel key would make contact with the tank. You can also order them with only one lock and a handle on the other, but the contact with the tank remains with either style.
I see they now offer a bottom-hinge, which would eleminate that problem, or the ones that you are referring to that simply remove when you open them. I'd like to see feedback from anyone that has purchased them too; how well do they fit at the bottom? The website doesn't have any pictures of the removable doors actually mounted into the lowers.
