Default $700 Burning a Hole

OK guys this is the deal. My wife gave me the green light to go ahead and spend the $700 to purchase a Leather Tour Pak and Rack for my 2006 RKC but after thinking about it a little more......$700 is a lot of money! What else can I get for the scoot up to $700?

Looking for some of your input minus the wife jokes!

Thanks!

She gave you the OK, because that is what she wants.
Get the tour pak and she will be happier because now she has a place to put her stuff.

A dozen roses for the missus, for starters. Valentines Day is almost here and it souinds as if she deserves it. Then sit down with the P&A Catalog and 'shop' for a while.

You can get a USED Leather tourpak much cheaper if you look around and be patient. I saw one go for $450 on Craigslist a few months back. That was the tourpak and the mounting bracket. They do come up every now and then.

Hard question. I don't know what you want or need. If it were me, I'd be split between an Amp and 6 1/2" speakers or some Cams. Since your rolling a Road King, a stereo isn't in the cards so I'd be looking at go fast parts.

I'm with twodollarbill; sounds like you must have been asking for a leather Tour-Pak and rack, so she is now giving you permission to buy what you said you wanted. Unless she said 'here's $700 to spend on your bike; get whatever you want', I know I'd be bringing home a leather Tour-Pak and rack. If I changed my mind, I'd tell my wife upfront that I wanted to get something different. At least, I would if I didn't want to spend time on the couch...
