that is my color of choice but they wont have one in stock until October(they say)in Ultra Classic. Was going to put a deposit on an 07 Ultra Black Cherry which is here next week,I gotta see it first!

Sounds like shipments are pretty fast, what was the street glides turnoffs?
I take several trips a year--some a day or two--a couple for several days. The Street Glide was just a little rougher ride, in comparison to the Electra Glide. Not bad mind you, just a little rougher. Clearly, the low profile shocks do have an impact on the ride quality. The EGC just seemed to handle a little more effortlessly than the glide. My buddy felt the same way, and we were both dead set on Street Glides before the test ride. I think the Street Glide is a great bike for occasional touring and local riding. The EGC is a better long tourer.
A more comfortable seat on the SG might have made a big difference in our ride quality comparison. If I had bought it, the seat would be the first change. Passing lamps on the front the second.
Had to take the new bike to the dealer this morning. The horn wasn't working right. Took them about a half hour to replace it. Then I took a ride and visited a couple of other Harley dealers. I call this my t-shirt run. I buy a new t-shirt from each dealer I visit. Put on 140 miles total. Up to 250 altogether in 3 days. At this rate, I'll have to go in for the 1000 mile check some time next week.
