i made a commet in a earlyer post that i must be getting old cause thats whats on my bike and i thought they were loud, glad to hear its not just me i love the looks.
They're pretty damned loud. Ran them on my Dyna. Killer looks, but damn were my ears ringing after a ride. I think a passenger is going to hate them, IMO.
Those pipes are great sounding and look smokin'. I had them on my soft tail. I found them to be great during the day but much louder in early a.m. and late p.m. when the world is just alittle quieter. So what, I thought. After a ten to twelve hour run though, they were alittle more than what I wanted. I guess my personal experience leads me to believe that they are great "around town" pipes. Maybe with the different baffles might make all the difference in the world. I always ran them wide open..Nice bike bro.
I have the Big Radius on my Street Glide. I too run the Big City Thunder Monstor Baffles.
I love Loud. I rode to sturgis from PA without Baffles. I didn't use ear plugs until I got to South Dakota and I was literally deaf in both ears for 1 day and hearing wasn't restored for 2 days.
My Streetglide was a nice bike until I put the big radius pipes on...Now, It's the coolest bike I could ever want...I have comfy seat, tunes, bags, wind protection, and the coolest sounding harley around.
Loud Pipes save Lives. I live out in the country where we don't have noise ordances or police. I don't have any neighbors to worry about. When I ride into town or I am around the police I don't do anything to bring attention to myself.
Yes, they look and sound badass.

I saw a compan that makes quiet baffles for all different kinds of pipes. Smart parts or something like that? I will dig through my magazines later.
I an on the fence about getting these as well. They look great. I am just worried about how loud they may be. My Sarg. threaten me with a ticket last year.
