Default Ultra Glide

My wife wanted a street glide, but we got a killer deal on a used Ultra. Trying to remove the tour pack to give it that street glide look. Has anyone out there made this change? Have the tour pack off and will replace the am/fm antenna with the hidden one in the front fairing. Trying to come up with a decent looking mount for the CB antenna. The motor company has a relocating kit for the antenna for $197.00. Figure I can fabricate something on my own for that. How about something to reomove the large flat mounting rack for the tourpack and some way to add a passenger back rest. Any ideas?
Thanks
Mark

Your wife would of not been happy with the SG...you got the better bike for two-up riding.
Go with HD detatchables, you will need to change out the rear chrome strut covers.
Also, you will need to find a new place to put your lic. plate.

You should reconsider removing it at all!! The tour-pac is my favorite part of the bike! That thing holds LOTS of stuff! If nothing else, go with a detachable set-up so you can put it back on when you need it. My bet is, eventually, it would just stay on!

+1. The tour pak is way too handly! If you do decide to remove it go with the HD detachable kit and relocate the antennaes like you said.

I started with a Streetglide and its almost an Ultra Streetglide. A detachable tourpack kit might be the ticket.

The detachable rack would make it easier to take on and off.

This scoot belongs to a guy I met that let me use his picture. That's what I want to do to mine.
