Default Electrontic Throttle Control - Help Needed!

Hey guys...
I am in the process of installing Heat Demons on my '08 Road King. I had to disconnect the ETC from behind the headlight and pull it out the right handle bar. Sounds easy enough. Not so much... I have the chrome housing that goes around the headlight and kind of rolls over the top of the handle bars and around the front forks. That really is a pain in the *** for this job.
I now have to get the ETC run back down the right handlebar and out into the headlight area to hook up again. Do I need to remove the chrome housing from around the headlight or am I able to do this without removing that? If I have to remove it, does anyone know the process for doing so? If I don't have to remove it, does anyone have any tricks for running the ETC back down it the headlight area? I am at a loss...

Thanks...

You should remove the headlight nacelle. It is outlined in the service manual how to remove the nacelle. If you don't have one, you should get one. However, kbore had a good write up on how to remove it HERE.

Thanks for the link dawg...
Going to pick a service manual up today. I don't think what I'm trying to do can be done without removing the headlight nacelle. This job is taking much longer than expected, but I'm sure that had I had a service manual before I started things would have went much quicker. And I have more updates that I plan to do before spring where the service manual is sure to help as well...
