When you purchase a bike, you get an OWNERS manual. dawg was referring to the SERVICE manual. You must purchase the service manual. Unless agreed to ahead of time, the dealer does not provide you with one.
Lots of people have helped and it should be added that if you intend to do work on your own bike you need at the least the factory service manual if not the electrical and parts manuals as well.
I normally advocate working on and knowing your own vehicles.
But, when one is under warranty and has had parts purchased and installed from the dealer they should be made to correct any issues, like properly aim your headlight.
