After hearing some options from you guys here I got a Mustang rider back rest (I have a one piece Mustang seat). Went for a 150 mi ride yesterday. I am going to put this investment at the top of my list for comfort items. With the highway pegs I can now lean back and relax my lower back. Rode 100 miles with no back pain at all. $250.00 is a little pricey but sure my back will think it's well worth it.

 

First thing I added to my Ultra was a backrest. Have had back problems for years, but with backrest I can ride for hours without back pain. Wouldn't have a bike without one!
