Anyone know of which oil is best? Which cam should I use to make my bike go fast? What exhaust would get me the most horsepower but still not be too loud? And do any of ya'll know what windshield I could go with that would make it feel like I'm not riding a motorcycle?
To tell you the truth I am not sure I would consider anyone who spends the majority of their time plugging away on a compute as an "expert" unless of course we are willing to qualify that statement a bit more. I can tell you I never bother to check to see what the posting score is when I am seeking advice. You can usually tell who the sage ones are from their posts and not their post counts.

It's pretty easy to go to any member and click on "All Posts" to see if they have anything interesting to say or if they have been "Post Whoring". I've found it very educational to go to the people I've come to respect, and see what they have had to say in the past on many different subjects. Also, there are some funny mother f&%$#rs on here so you can go to their history and be quite entertained.
Don't ever compare your Harley to a Gold Wing
Don't ever compare you Harley's power to a metric
Don't ever ask how to check the air in the tires
Don't ever ask what oil to use
Don't ever ask what cam to use
Don't ever ask what exhaust to use
Don't ever ask what windshield to use
Don't ever compare any bike to an Ultra (unless you have one, then you are already an expert)
Stay away from all these and nobody will know you aren't an expert already.
You forgot:
Don't ever ask which jack is best
Don't ever ask what lift to buy
Don't EVER, EVER mention Harbor Freight
