So I got a painted inner fairing put on my bike today. Good plan. The guy paints a fairing, comes to me and installs. Really nice guy. He finishes, then says he has good news and bad news.
Good news - the fairing looks great. Bad news - he painted an '07 fairing (with a hole for the throttle cable I don't need) for my '08. Gave me the option of letting him paint another one and make it right or keep the one with the hole for $100 less.
Should I keep the one with the hole? $100 in my pocket for a hole I can't see unless I look for it. . . Will water go down that hole and create a problem?
Really nice guy who wants me to be happy. Would definitely recommend to other guys in Florida or south Georgia.
