Ape hangers on a bagger?
I currently ride an '02 Heritage Springer with 9.5" apes. At 6'4", the ape hangers work well for me. I am considering buying a damaged Glide and want to know if ape hangers will work with the fairing. Does anyone have this set-up? How does it look? If so, a picture of how it looks would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try Cyclesmiths at http://www.cyclesmiths.com Click on eglide at the bottom of the screen, they offer the only true apes that I know of for the batwing faired bikes. I almost went with these, but bought the wild1's instead. Personally I dig the look of apes on a baggger.

I have seen a few with apes and I don't like them, but if that is what you like go for it. You will need to redo all of your cables etc. something to think about.

Go for it !!! I've seen afew in Daytona and Laconia. Up here in Canada you would get 2 blocks from home before getting pulled over.

I just saw a e-glide today with Apes on it, Not sure how tall but they were as tall as his shoulders, so they stuck way above the fairing and the cut down windshield and sorry to say, but it looked terrible to put it nicely. Apes on a R.K. fine, but with fairing? Ish.
