Default Trailering my Ultra

Okay I normally ride my bike everywhere, but due to a medical situation I need to trailer my Ultra to Sedona, Az. I am looking for some advice on a good low cost trailer. I am looking at the Diamondback and the stinger, does anyone have any experience in using these? Do they hold up?

Thanks

Default MC Trailer

I have had great success with a single rail by Kendon.

Light Weight, Folds agains garrage wall, Independent torsion suspension, front wheel chock, one man load/unload, ... Any Dealer can get it through Trucker Rockee...

Are you going to trailer your Ultra a lot? If not, it would be cheaper to rent one. I have an enclosed trailer made by carry-on. It's a nice trailer and protects the bike best while hauling, but it sit's in the yard most of the time not being used. The first Motorcycle Trailer I had was one I bought at Northern tool for around 600.00 It was a 4X8 with 12 inch tires. I cut the front rail at the tongue and modified it so I could run the front wheel farther up to get my tongue weight right. I ended up with less than 800.00 dollars in it. It towed my Harley just fine. When I decided to buy the enclosed one I have now, I sold the other for over 900.00 on Ebay.

First question is what you have to pull it with. You may have weight restrictions unless you have a vehicle that can handle the weight.

Here's a good article on tow weights.

When I bought my trailer I had a company lease vehicle and didn't want to go out and buy a $30K pick-up truck or SUV so I bought a lightweight aluminum trailer. The trailer plus the Harley was still under 1000lbs GVW which could be towed by my Chevy Impala, or just about any car. Even though I finally bought a bigger vehicle, the trailer works great. It's an Aluma or something like that. There are numerous brands.
