Default Removing fork legs

Last month I removed my fork legs on my 03 flh with ease to replace the fork sliders. I am now helping my friend remove his 07 flh legs but they do not want to come out. We removed the top bolt, took off the pinch bolts but that sucker will not budge. Anyone have any tips or problems with their 07. HELP! Called a few harley dealerships and a few mechanics and they all say the same thing that it should slide right off.

I had that with an 05 Road King once. Left side seemed to be stuck. Put the top bolt back in hand tight and sprayed it with penetrating oil and let it sit for about 20 minutes, and it started moving a little. Sprayed it again and let it sit. Finally got it to slide out. It was slightly oxidized.

are we talking seperating sliders or the fork legs from the trees?

If seperating, remove the lower bolts on the BOTTOM of the for legs and they will slide apart

got it off using a strap tool to wiggle it out. corrosion had already settled on the upper triple tree which caused it to stick. thanks for the comments.

I applied a thin coating of Never-Seize to the inside of the trees for easy removal next time....
