is there any website that we can hear the stock muffler for 07?
Now I have one , an 07 , so I believe I'm justified. If you find a 63 VW Beetle you will notice that it sounds exactly the same as the stock pipes on an 07. I've put Samson's on mine for now.
It's way too quiet to me and I'm probably going to hold out for a set of true duals (either Rinehearts or HK's). I guess they won't be available until November though.

if you're able to do a sound recording of your pipes...I'd be glad to hear them...the 07 haven't arrived here..
Hey guys. I have an 07 Road King as well and am looking for a little more tone in my pipes. An earlier post said to just yank the baffles. Can this be done with changing the performance?
My 07 Electra Glide sounded VERY similiar to a Cushman golf cart before I put on the 'older SE slash-cuts pt # 64903-99 (down-slash). I have similiar SE's on my 03 Road King and the sound is a little higher pitched and has more crackle. I still have to put on my SE air cleaner and then remap it with SERT. Hopefully after remapping, it won't be so lean and it will lose some of the crackle sound under load. Both bikes sound the same when they are parked and you rev them up... but under load the Road King (95 ci) has a better 'deep' sound.
Chicago HD had over a hundred sets of the older SE's when I got mine and they sell all their parts at 20% off when you order online.
