I got Brian's info from a friend as well, decided to give him a shot on my 20k service a while back, conveinently he is about a mile from my house but after working with him I would go well out of my way to do business with him.
I scheduled the service, dropped the bike off, talked to him, brought him up to speed on the history of my bike, vented my issues with the dealership service experiences, which I'm sure we all have stories about, so I left it with him and asked him to give me his recommendations after taking it for a spin.
He identified several problems which most likely occurred when I had it in for service and warranty issues, he explained them to me, made what adjustments he could with what he had to work with and suggested we start with a tuner as a future improvement and go from there.
I left, and was totally satisfied, his people skills and attention to detail is exceptional, I quickly noticed how clean it was, I don't even know if I ever cleaned all the dirt from around the gauge bezels, the inner fairing was gleaming as was the rest of the bike and it performed better than the day I brought it home.
I decided to ride it for a while and then make arrangements to get a tuner installed, told him to pick the one he wanted to work with since I planned to have him perform all of my work from now on. The problem that caused the past warranty was starting to occur again so I scheduled the work and tuner install.
I picked the bike up yesterday and can say, once again, very impressed.
Been trying to get ahold of Bryan for two days. Left message, haven't heard anything back. I called Jud Crowley & he called right back. I think I'm gonna go there Friday to get some new tires put on. He has what I need in stock.
Seeking a mechanic near Frisco or even Allen would be ok...tried to search and contact Brian Todd/Independent Cycle and ph# posted here does not work...
Anyone have contact for him? Or someone in the Frisco area highly recommended? Dealerships overcharge pretty bad...

I ended up seeing Jud Cowley for my tires. He's in Sachse but really good. He knows his stuff, no BS, down to earth guy. Highly recommend him.
+1 on Jud. When I call and he doesn't answer he has always called right back. I've been using him for years and have always been extremely satisfied. He knows his stuff, has an awesome shop (with his own Dyno machine), gets work done in a very timely manner and he's great guy to boot. He won't bs you and always shoots straight with you.
Don't know any of these other guys or places mentioned.
+4 & 5, on Jud C. Did a 124" on my scooter this summer and I couldn't be happier, as previously stated straight shooter, no extra spending on misc bs.
Do not hesitate to use him.
