I got my new duals in today. Any secrets to installing them or are they pretty easy to go on? I can't wait to get the SERT and a/c installed and Dynoed. Will it be ok to ride to the dealer with the new pipes on or should I trailer it there.
I installed those pipes on my RK last winter. I noticed this year that the tab that secures the rear pipe to the chasis was broken. While at Laconia I noticed Rineharts and Bassani pipes both used exhaust clamps around an L bracket that ties to the chasis bracket. You can see that they sell that part on Rinehart's website. I'd be curious to know if your set up came with the clamp or the welded tab , or both... My rear pipe is pretty much hanging in the wind from the head to the bag.
Call Bub's. From what I understand they will replace it for free. All of the new pipes come with a clamp.

Thanks! Man I love that yellow. I'm seriously concidering getting that disgustingly sick orange that they are now offering in the Road Glide. I guess they have two up in NH , and I'm going up to take a look tomorrow.
I like that Orange too. My local shop had one and it really looked cool.
