Don't quite get your question? If you are asking if Mad River will push performance like Roeder's did, I doubt it. As far as I know, they don't have a tuner yet, and without one, they can forget it. There are 3 people around hear that I know of that can tune, Super, Gene and myself. And we are all at Roeder's Racing now, and MadRiver doesn't pay enough for any of us to go. Not to mention the crew at Roeder's is awesome to work with/for. George is as cool as they come. they are now selling bikes and have Rick and Dennis in the showroom.
Good to hear your back in the saddle again tuning harleytuner at Roederracing. I'd drive from N.E. Ohio to Sandusky area for a professional dyno tune from you guys.
Not in northeast Ohio but well worth the trip to northwest Ohio is Dyno-Power in Toledo.
Mark is a great tuner who really knows his stuff.
He also was the first Pro Stock Harley to run a 7 second pass.
This has got to be the most state of the art facility I have ever seen. "Dyno-Power is one of only 20 fully certified Dynojet power commander tuning center in the US and the only one in Northwest Ohio". This place is so clean you could eat off the floor. These guys treat every bike like its their own. Cant say enough good things about this crew. http://www.dyno-power.com/
harley-tuner dyno'd my 113" yesterday; runs like a different bike now!
I was very impressed with the amount of time spent to work through everything needed to get the most out of my bike.
Even though they are 150 miles from me, I'll support them from now on.
Thanks Steve, really glad you're happy with your tune. We'll have to hook up and ride some this summer, the wife and I plan on riding down your way sometime, she wants to go to Belterra casino on the river
I have been wanting to make it up to the old monroeville store and would be sweet to make it up to there grand opening they have always been a great bunch and great people to deal with.
Maybe I misunderstood. I thought that Adventure bought Roeder's HD, and named it Mad River.
If so, I wondered if the same crew that worked at Roeder's HD , would be working at Mad River ??
Am I confused about what Roeder's is, and who bought it ??
Adventure did buy the frachise for the Sandusky area. I'm not sure if they bought it from Roeder's or from Harley. Roeder Racing is the race shop that did the performance work for the dealership, it is owned by the brother (George). Roeders Racing is still up and running strong at the Monroeville location.
Some of the old crew will be at Mad River for sure, I know of one tech that is going (Sammy), as far as the other 6 of us techs, I don't think any are going. 3 of us are at Roeder Racing now, 2 full time and I help out with the tunes for now when tey need me, probably be working quite bit when thing pick up this summer.
