I have 800 miles on my 2010 RK. When she's warmed up, there is a distinct knocking (not pre-ignition) or ticking noise coming from the right side at about 25-3200 rpms.
Is this normal? Should I be concerned or wait until it's fully broken in before go to the dealer?

going from an evo softail, adding an addition sportster, then going to a twin cam 96... i noticed a lot of noises i have never really heard before. i brought the bike in for 1000 mile... asked them to listen... yep... they heard it, and said all is ok. i listen to other EGs and RKs and they all have their own special sounds.

Thanks...
ticking or knocking? Which is it? Eitherway I would take it to the dealer immediately and be on record if you have any concern!

by the way... this is what my local dealer did. they noted what i thought i heard. they also said they heard what i described, and that i should not be concerned.
bike felt good on the expressway, and on the city side streets today. i am just about 2k on my EG, and it seems to be running better everyday.
