Default biketronics help please

hey guys. have my 09 rg with a sony unit got from biketronics. noticed the other day that when i turn it on, change channels on fm tuner, changed cd tracks, basically anything that sent "power" thru the unit, my right speaker "pops". tonite i just installed my new j and m 7.25 speakers i got from shawn and they sound great other than the POP. any ideas?????? do not want to blow a speaker. since you can actually see inside the grill when at the right angle, i can see the speaker "bounce' when it pops. right side only. the left speaker does nothing...HELP!!!!!

I would call Mike at Biketronics and explain your concerns. Leave a message. I called them on a Saturday once and they returned my call while I was in my shop and walked right thru it with me. Just a thought.

Has it always made the pop?

Sounds like you have a bit of a grounding issue.

kudos to phillip @ biketronics for helping me fix/repair my problem...so to speak. turns out i must have a channel (speaker)_ going bad so i just switched my speakers wiring from the front to the rear wires. works great. stereo is out of warranty and since i only have front speakers, this will work. when times get better will think about replacing head unit....now to button up the fairing and crank up those 7.25's.....
