Default Torque Value

I purchased the Screamin Eagle muffflers (65115-10) and a set of piston end caps, does anyone have the torque value for the end cap screws? The end caps didn't come with any info on torque. I don't want to tighten them to much and snap one.

Thanks
Rick

I looked in my Torque Values end book and it covers every type of bike Harley makes for 2008-2010 and there is no listing for the end caps. i would say "Snug" with a little lock tight. best advice i could give. You could also call a Dealership and see what they say. ask to talk with a tech.

I called the dealer and as usual they don't know... I will just tighten then and hope they hold.

I just snug them up good but I use anti-seize on the bolts.

As fxlowboy stated, from the H-D installation sheet:
