Default Cams

I am going to have my cam bearings and cam chain tensioners changed at 40,000 miles. My harley shop says that if they explode it will be covered under warranty. I don't want to change a lot on my bike when this is done. Should I go with the Torrington Cam bearings? Also, I would like to keep the motor as stock as i can with a cam change. What kind of cam should I put in to give the bike a little more power without having to change a whole lot of stuff?

Absolutely on the Torrington Bearing.

You'll get a lot of different opinions on cams but I like the 203's.

Absolutely go with Torrington bearings. Cam choice? I can speak well for 204's and the 203's would be fine.

203's or 204's hard to beat the torque down low and both are bolt in's. If you want to speend a little more for gear drive mabe the andrews 37g's about a 3 to 4 hp increse in hp but about the same low end torque.

S&S 510G will bump you about 7 more HP and 9 more lbs of TQ. Plenty of low to mid-range grunt
