Default Changing cams

Hello new here and had a couple of question on cams. I am going to be changing out cam bearings on my 1998 wide glide and am thinking i might as well change out my cam and lifters. i have been hearing that the ev27 cam is pretty good for stock engines. will i need to do anything to the heads at all or is it ok to just swap out cams. im only asking because i am on a tight budget right now plus as this bike will be going to my daughter when she turns 18 i realy dont want to go overboard. thanks in advance

The E-V 27 is a bolt in cam, change the cam bearing though and check the rollers in the lifters.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it was just a simple swap i figured as long as i was changing the bearing i would swap out the cam and lifters since it was apart. should i stick with stock lifters or use aftermarket ones.
