Sooooooo, I have some questions.
Dino or Syn? Same in all three holes or different? how often should i change the fluids? regular or vtwin specific fluids? Harley products or aftermarket? Is a klunk bad? How 'bout that ticking sound? would water cooled engines make a better Harley? How 'bout them Victory's? back to the oil...does synthetic oil really have anti-abrasive poly molecules with a counter active aging additive chaser? I bet it makes my bearings skate!
Just kidding, I'm lazy and thought it would be nice to cover all these controversial issues on one thread.

Have a good one.
Syn, no, every 2500, vtwin specific, both aftermarket and HD, sometimes a klunk is bad, ticking is normal, no, air cooled is the best, what about them? who cares.
Oil type don't matter
Alternate between holes
It's Harley, fluid changes are unnecessary
Airplanes have clunks in their gas tanks
Harley don't know how to make a water cooled engine
A victory hasn't happened since WW2
Syn oil is very abrasive and should not be used
Harley used to say syn was bad for the air cooled motor and just recently decided it was better since the bike ran cooler and the oil doesn't break down as fast. There are alot of great oils out there and plenty of threads, look some up to help ya to make a final decision.
