You are so right Ryan.I know i have that with my 117 build and finding a great dyno man in my area is going to be pretty easy as well.I am really looking forward to riding this baby next week.

Im right at 110 with my wittle ol 98".....
Oh man, I feel left out. My measely little 120" routinely gets 42-45mpg and has seen 50+ in some situations.
If you are thinking of building a monster motor, 117" or otherwise, dont fear the fuel economy. As long as the right components are used, it is all about the tune. And even though this post is geared at the 117, there is only 3ci difference so here is a dyno chart to compare.
I got my 117 back a couple days ago and i noticed also that the bike does run alot cooler then before.
The builder of my 117 advised me to get it tuned after 700 miles but it runs so nice i'm thinking whats the need to spend the money. The map he put in it is suppose to be running aroud 115-120 horsepower which is cool with me.He said the torque now with this map is around 115 so i'm cool the way it is because those dyno aren't cheap and another friend of mine told me he could show me with a laptop and tune it myself since i have a thundermax.
Just remember, not all dyno sheets are created equal.
I really don't understand what is all the suspicious nature is about what someone has for a dyno and in the world when geting a 117 that this is a problem for folks.
oh cool, you got a 117"? Who built it?...BTW, a map can not tell you how much HP or torque you get, should get, or are getting without a dyno tune. I guess I'll just start calling builders within a 200 mile radius of you and see if they have any knowledge of you, I got about 3 weeks off of work and nothing better to do with my mornings. LOL tool

I never said it could tell me.What i said was my builder told me with the map he put in it i should be around 115-120 hp so that is ok with me.
