Hi all,
Haven't posted for a while. I decided to trade in my 07 and pulled the trigger on a new 2010 Peace Officer's edition Ultra. Take delivery in about 6 to 8 weeks. I want to take advantage of the discount that my dealer is offering on parts and upgrades of 20% on the purchase and it being covered under the warranty at time of purchase.
My questions for anyone who has done this is there a are two offerings in the catalog for the kits, one which notes that it includes all 2010 50 state legal bikes which costs $1449.95 and one which fits 49 state legal 09 touring for $1675.95. Now I wonder what the price difference is for the 2010 and I know that the 50 state legal would now include California which is not necessary for where I reside(that I know of). Just wondering why 2010 actually costs less. Also what have others paid their dealers to do this upgrade and are there additional costs such as slip on exhausts and SE air cleaner needed?
