Update posted. Miraculous turn-around, and they are able to do surgery tomorrow. I told Keith about all of your well wishes and prayers, and he is very, very, grateful. Thanks so very much. You'll never know what difference this has made. Oh, and for those that wanted to know, he's in Room 427, St. Patrick's Hospital, Missoula, MT.

Please relay to your friend that this is a "crush injury" and qualifies for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Please seek out a Hyperbaric chamber in a wound care center close to him or as part of the hospital. He will heal faster and reduce edema if he can convince his doctors to utilize this therapy while he awaits the surgery. He will also heal his other wounds faster. He will also fair better with his surgical outcome if can get his therapy after his surgery. Good luck.
