Default HD jack???????

Is the HD brand motorcycle jack new, why doesn't anyone talk about it in all the "jack" threads? Does anyone know who makes it for HD? Just wondering. Thanks

To be honest, I did not know they made one.

Doesn't look like any of the other manufactures lifts that I have seen so I would assume it is made for them in China.... lol...

I am not sure if I like the hand crank deal. I will stick with my J&S...

I like the fact that the HD jack/lift (94653-98) appears to be non-hydraulic. You crank it so it leads me to believe it is a machanical/screw/scissor type arrangement. The list is $379. Would be noice to know who the OEM is and if it could be had cheaper.

Anyone actually own the HD lift and is it in fact a screw type arrangement?

I remember when our dealer opened up there new place and they did have a HD jack. It is a screw type mechanism with a folding handle. Sort of like your car jacks now-a-days. The only bad thing, IMHO, is the tube which houses the screw goes up along side the bike. As do the support brackets.

I saw one and didn't care for it because the crank is in the way once it is raised, hydraulic ones with a foot pump are below the bike when it is in the air and more out of your way, I'll stick with my J & S

My wife bought me one several years ago and I love. Because it is a crank model it is perfect for removing and installing wheels. You can dial it in to the exact height you want.

Bought mine a couple of years ago. Its heavy duty steel and welds made in U.S.A., not the thin steel I saw on others. It is hand cranked and works every time. No hydraulics to go out. This year I am going to remove the handle and use my cordless drill to crank it up.
