Done this. Had dealer install before I picked bike up. All needed parts are in the kit EXCEPT the passing lamp bulbs. I used 68348-05 bulbs. They match the headlight.
While you are at it, since you have to remove the switch cover, consider changing wiring to allow the passing lamps to stay on with high beam.
I didn't see the instructions, but instead of connecting the feed to the new switch to the low beam circuit, connect it to the hot side of the acc. switch.
I think they look good and they do put a lot of light on the road (if adjusted properly).
This is the best looking Passing Lamp kit for your Street Glide, bar none! All the parts are included with the exception of the actual passing lamp bulbs. There are several styles to choose from...select the one you like best.
BTW...listen to what 05stdblu said...wire your lamps so they are on with either the high or the low beam! It's a great mod!
Tearing mine apart today, mine is wired to go off, I want them changed! So all I do is move the hot wire to the ac hot side, this makes since. so key is on they are on.
Did mine myself, not that hard of a job. Good advise 05stdblu, hit all the right points imo.
Thanks to all you guys for responding, this is such a great place for info....
Can you tell me if you were able to reuse the turn signals or did you need to buy the "bullet signal" kit referred in the acc book..?
Cheers fellas
